Wow, thanks to the shoutout from ThisBigCity there are now nearly twice as many of you as there were before. Hello and welcome new readers! I like to know what kind of folks are reading this here tumblr, so hit reply and say hi! Are you a student? What are you studying? Do you work or intern? What do you do?  Whereabouts in the world are you? 

My name is Ameya (uh-may-uh) and I’m a City & Regional Planning student at Ohio State in Columbus. I’m also minoring in International Development and this summer I will be taking classes to get a real estate licence as well. I come from a liberal arts background (at my school City Planning is houses in the College of Engineering) so I see urban issues from a mostly social justice perspective, which is why many of my posts deal with how women, people of color, the elderly and the young use their cities. I also am an environmentalist, like most of us, so there is usually plenty of that too. As well as just random cool stuff that I reblog from everyone else, of course. This is tumblr, after all.
